NJASK
NJASK this year was like the way it always has been. It was somewhat difficult and somewhat easy. Day One was much easier than Day Two. On Day One, all we had to do were two open-ended responses and one persuasive essay. The persuasive essay was difficult. The topic was not that controversial, because we had to persuade the librarian to buy our favorite book. Someone would have already read their favorite book so that there would be no point in having it in the library for their use. The open-ended responses were very easy, with the first one being the easiest. Day two was more difficult and longer. On Day Two, we had to write an explanatory essay, two open-ended responses, and a speculative essay. The explanatory essay was very easy, because it was about the environment. The first open-ended response was a lot easier than the second open-ended response because it was a simple story to understand. The speculative essay was very easy because it was about what happened to a piece of cake. Overall the NJASK was just right with evenly balanced easiness and difficulty.
